Hi there,

I just installed youre theme, and its great!!
I got a question.
With the other themes i,ve got, people can write a comment on a page.
All it says now is: comments are disabled.

How can i set it so people can write a comment on a page (not a topic)

Greetz,

Remco

You just need to make sure that you haven't disabled comments on that particular page. There is a box on the Page edit screen called Discussion, you'll need to make sure that the comments haven't been disable there.

When i made a new page, and i made a comment on that page, the next thing was that there were no more comments allowd:S

So the moment there is made a comment, there are no other comments allowed.

I think it is a bug in the comments.php
When i uses an other theme, i can write comments.

When there is one comment wroten in youre theme, they can no more comments be writen.

Is there a way we can fix this bug?
Cause i love youre theme

Ok I think I found the problem. To get you working again while I work on a permanent solution in the next version you'll need to edit the tech-comments-functions.php file in the functions folder in the main theme folder. You need to look for this text and delete it.

delete_comment_link(get_comment_ID())

After that you should be working again. All this code does is give an easier way for admins to spam or trash comments without having to go to the backend. I will try to figure out why it's not working for pages and fix it for the next version. Please let me know if this doesn't fix your problem.

I'm working on a test version of a website using your theme (love it). I'm able to leave comments on some pages, http://craneroofing.com.previewdns.com/about/ but not on the blog page http://craneroofing.com.previewdns.com/our-blog-2/

I can't seem to figure out what the problem is. Thanks!

It looks like the second page is set as the blog page and holds all the posts so clicking on an individual post to comment but it looks like something is screwy with the preview dns service your using because it's not passing the post permalink to the link address. I haven't seen any problem like this before. Is there another test site that you could install to see what might be going on.
