1.9.4 version. Excerpt location doesn’t seem to work on the main page of the blog

Hi, I’ve done some editing in the editor area, especially translating public concepts into Spanish and I don’t know quite sure where I must’ve stepped into the wrong alley. But since then, Excerpt location function at Techozoic general settings / post doesn’t seem to work anymore. I don’t want to reset the whole theme as I’ve personalized it quite bit. Any suggestions?
