When I try to utilize the h1 feature it turns my entire post to h1 instead of the one word that I highlighted. Also how do I make the post title h1 or h2 etc.?

The editor seems to not be closing the tag, I’m not sure why it would be doing that. You might have to switch over to the html editor and make sure to close the tag

</h1>

Also post titles are already h1 on single post screen. They are h2 on index and archive pages.

You shouldn’t need to do anything the titles are already h1 on single pages and h2 on the main page.
