Hi Jeremy.

I am nearly finished with setting up my site on your theme, just have a couple of questions.

1. When I put in a paragraph break in the editor and publish the page it does not show. I am having to put in a full stop and colour it white so it can not be seen. Is there a way around this.

2. After all of the changes I have made to the CSS and PHP here to this theme, if I wish to use it on another site with all the changes I have made, is it possible and will it work, if I dowmload the theme onto my hard drive, then zip it up and then upload it again to another blog.

Thank you. This support has been fantastic.

Regards
Heather

Looking at your site it looks like your not wrapping your paragraphs in <p> tags if you will use opening and closing <p> tags around each paragraph then the break should show up without having to insert it manually.

Unless you’ve edited any php files all all the info is stored in the database but you can export two records from the wp-options table. One is techozoic_options and the other is techozoic_activation_check which is only used to check if the default options need to be setup in the database. If you export both of these and then import them into the new sites database then uploaded the zipped file you’ve made from the theme files from your server you should be good to go.

Hi Jeremy.

I have used your theme again, at http://www.lifewithpurpose.com.au any idea why the header is way to short or why the borders are not contained. the header is 1000 x 200 as it is meant to be. I tried the downloading from teh other site with all the changes but I couldnt get it to work.

Thanks
Heather

I’m not exactly sure whats happening, I’ve looked at the site with Firefox and IE and don’t see any problems. Maybe if you could take a screenshot of what’s happening and then give me a link to it.

The only thing I see is that since you don’t have a blog title the box that supposed to be around the title text on the heaeder is empty. If you look in the options page there is an option Display Blog Title and Tagline overlay in header that you can turn off and it won’t show a empty box any more, then you can give the blog a title that will display in the browser and to search engines.

Glad you got it figured out, sorry I wasn’t sure what exactly the problem was.

Hi Jeremy,

I am having the same problem.

I have wrapped my paragraphs in

<div></div>

Tags
then used

<p>

to try and line break, however I am getting no breaks at all.

Can you please let me know what I may be doing wrong?

If your paragraphs are wrapped in

<p></p>

tags then there should be a margin on the top and bottom of the paragraph. If you need a link break using

<br />

should work. You could also try increasing the maring on the p tags in the custom css as well with this code.

.entry p {
margin: 6px 0;
|

This will give a top and bottom margin of 6px and side margins of 0 which should increase the distance between paragraphs.
