Hello, I’m a bit of a computer noob here.

I downloaded your Technozoic 1.7 theme, and am very pleased with it. However, I have a page that was custom designed on a subdomain, but I dunno how to link the header to the subdomain? Say I wanted Videoclips.domain.com to show up under the video clips header, but the only way I know how to create a new header is to add a page, which doesn’t link to videoclips.domain.com.

My friend said that I might have to edit the wordpress code to do this, any idea on what I should do?

There is a plugin that should do what you want easier than having to edit code. If this plugin doesn’t work for you let me know and I’ll walk you through setting up a new link in the navigation menu.

The plugin doesn’t work. When I was setting up the subdomain, I had the host point the page to another server (I’m an affiliate), and just pops up with their main site.

Sorry to hear that didn’t work. But you can edit the header.php file of my theme and look for this block of code.

<li class="<?php if (is_home()) echo’current_page_item’ ?>"><a href="<?php bloginfo(‘url’); ?>" title="Home">Home</a></li>
<?php wp_list_pages(‘title_li=&depth=1’); ?>
</ul>

Just add your link to the end like this.

<li class="<?php if (is_home()) echo’current_page_item’ ?>"><a href="<?php bloginfo(‘url’); ?>" title="Home">Home</a></li>
<?php wp_list_pages(‘title_li=&depth=1’); ?>

<!–your link here–>
<li><a href="http://subdomain.domain.com">Subdomain</a></li&gt;
<!– end of your link–>

</ul>
