Using this theme on a couple of web sites and find it to be the best ever. However I’m having a problem with one site. The page tabs appear to be too shallow and the tab name gets truncated on the bottom. Is there a way to increase the height of the tabs? problem tabs

Thanks in advance for any help

You can adjust the width of the tabs so that the title won’t wrap to a second line. It is in the General Settings page under the navigation tab. If you set the navigation tab width to 0 the tab will fit to the title. Also if using the wordpress menu function you can also give pages a seperate page title and menu title to abbreviate some of the titles to save space.

Hi Jeremy,

Thanks for the response. The problem doesn’t seem to be with the tab width but the height. The words aren’t wrapping they fit in the tab OK. It’s the bottom of the words that are being truncated ie. the lower part of a “y” is covered making it look like a “v”. Here is a link to the site. Really appreciate you help thanks.

Ok I see the problem now. You’ll need to add this to the custom css under the style settings page.

ul#nav li, ul#admin li, #nav2 li {
height:21px;
}
ul#nav, ul#nav2, #dropdown, .menu {
padding-top: 0px;
}
ul#nav2 {
height:30px;
}

This should make the tabs a little taller and move them back in line with the header border. I’ll also be looking into a way to make it grow with the text, which would be the best.
