Hi Jeremy,

Nice theme, thanks.
Sorry for my bad english!.
When i’m visiting the pages, please, it’s possible to know how to fill (with fixed value or percent) the size of the screen with the text of the content page.
Actually that is filled only with 48% as the percent of post in options.

I have setted the option like so:
Number of Columns = 3

Three Column Content Layout = Content – Sidebar – Sidebar

Fixed or Fluid Width = Fluid Width

Page Width = 100%

Main Column (Post Content) Width – Percentage of Page Width = 48%

Sidebars Width – Percentage of Page Width = 24.5%

Total Content Width – If Javascript is disabled this field will not update = 97%

Display Sidebars on Single Post Pages = No

SEO Features*(see notes) = On

Navigation Menu Type = Two Tier

Navigation Button Width = 9

Display Blog Title and Tagline overlay in header = Yes

Blog Title and Tagline Horizontal Alignment = Left

Single Page Blog Title Text = Always Blog Title

Another ‘little’ question is the bg of button-page, with the mouse on. That is the same like the bg of post, so if i get darker, also the bg of post became darker… Not really nice!. Any suggestion please!.
Best regards.

Thanks for the report. That is indeed a bug, I have fixed it when I release 1.7.2 but until then if you edit the page.php file and look for this text

<div id="content" class="narrowcolumn">

Then replace it with this code.

<div id="content" class="<?php if ($tech_single_sidebar == "Yes") { echo "narrow"; }else {echo "wide";}?>column">

As for the color question, I’ll work on more division for the color choices. But for now if you would like you can add this to the custom css box in the options.

ul#nav li, ul#admin li, #nav2 li { background-color: #ffffff !important;}

Replacing the #ffffff with your hex color code. If you need any more help let me know.

Great Jeremy!… Thanks a lot!.
The page is ok.

The color for the bg menu when the mouse go on (I think = hover) still have the same color as before.

Sorry Mr. Jeremy… When you wrote “…you can add this to the custom css box in the options” that means I must add your suggested code into file “options.css”… It’s right?.

I take this opportunity to ask you about to add a .swf file into the header. How I can do it?.

Have a nice day… Ciao!.

The Custom CSS is at the very bottom of the General Settings page in the Techozoic options page (where you set the page width and all that), there is a large text box you can just paste the code in that box and it’s added to the blog’s stylesheet.

For the hover color you’ll need to add this to the Custom CSS as well

ul#nav li:hover, ul#admin li:hover, #nav2 li:hover, #nav2 li:active { background-color: #eeeeee !important; }

Again replacing the #eeeeee with the hex color code of your choice.

When you say add a .swf do you just want it displayed over the header image or to replace it all together. If you just want to replace it you’ll have to edit the header.php file and look for this code.

<div id="headerimg">
<h1><?php if ( is_single() & $tech_blog_title_text == "Single Post Title") { ?><a><?php wp_title(”,true,”); ?></a><?php } else { ?><a href="<?php echo get_option(‘home’); ?>/"><?php bloginfo(‘name’); ?></a><?php } ?></h1>
<?php if ( is_single() & $tech_blog_title_text == "Single Post Title") { $description = "<a href="".get_bloginfo(‘home’)."">".get_bloginfo(‘name’)."</a>"; }
else {$description = get_bloginfo(‘description’);}
if (!empty ($description)) { ?>
<span class="description"><?php echo $description; ?></span>
<?php } ?>

Then replace all of this with the embed code for your flash file. I’ll look into maybe making it easier in upcoming versions.

You are my Hope!. I’m very happy!.
All it’s work properly for concerning what i asked you.

Do you like to help me more?.
-Please… reverse the color (black to white) of the text page menu when the mouse is Hover.
-When i refresh the page, the bg appear all in blue before finish the complete refreshing; not so only the header and the post or comment side.
-I have on the right sidebar the Clock Widget; I know it’s not your… But I want ask to you… I trust you. The caption text go out of the page border, without turn in the new raw at the real limit.

No?!. You are GREAT in any case, and I want to thank you for all you made and for all you’ll prepare, with your work for us.
Thank you very much Mr. Jeremy!.
Best wishes.
Ciao, Giuseppe

Thanks for the hint on how to replace the header images with a Flash .swf file. I did that and it worked, BUT the .swf displays about 50 px too low and overwrites the navigation menu. See
Maybe there’s a setting in the header options that I overlooked?
I’m using the current version,
Thanks for your care.
P.S. The embed code I used reads:

<object><embed src="; quality="high" bgcolor="#ffffff" width="930" height="200" name="banners" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" allowFullScreen="false" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="; />
</embed> </object>

PPS: I tried moving the .swf file to a different folder and emptying the /headers folder so that there were no static images in the background of the header area, but that didn’t make the .swf images slide upward.

PPPS: Actually, now that the site is taking shape, I wouldn’t mind at all if the header image did slide down the page a bit, pushing the menu down with it, if I could get another row of text for frequently used links across the top of the home page. No, I don’t have a clue how to do that, yet.

I have actually added code since the version mentioned, if you look in the header.php file again and delete this code it should push it back up.

<div id="headerimgwrap">

You can also adjust the height of the header on the Techozoic Header settings page as well.

Thank you, that worked. 🙂
