OK, thank you. Our site won’t be ready to go public for a couple of weeks, so no worries. And we could easily go public without a search box at first.

1.8.7 of Techozoic is now in the Theme directory and can be updated from your dashboard. To get rid of the search form in the header you need to add this to the custom css box.

This should stop the search form showing up.

Thanks for your suggest, just implemented your new version on my website.
Your new theme version is more useful, i think.
And the search form has gone from header. 😉

I have been getting this error too and glad I found out the reason for it. However, before I upgrade to the new version 1.8.7 I wanted to know what is meant by losing any customizations made. A friend did my website for me and as far as I know simply installed this theme without any customizations made. I’m waiting for them to get back to me, but was curious what customizations would consist of. I added things myself like new widgets, new pages, and categories, but I’m thinking these aren’t the customizations being mentioned in the upgrade pop up. I see you are very active in helping people who have your theme and thank you ahead of time.

As long as no theme files were modified, you should be fine to upgrade. Widgets and all the theme options set through the admin screens will be maintained.

Thank you. I upgraded to the latest version and the search feature is working fine.
