I’ve just setup proper project management for my Techozoic Fluid theme using Google Code. I have also designed a logo for my theme. If you would like to always have the latest version of Techozoic you may now use Subversion to checkout a copy. If you are like me and keep up with the latest WordPress nightly releases then you’ll know how to checkout code using svn. I use Linux but I’m sure svn works the same for Windows as well.

Jeremy,
I really am enjoying these theme except for a problem. The comments never seem to line up with the right post. The post that has 4 comments shows 0, while the one with 0 shows 4 comments. (see main page and scroll to April 30th and May 1st)
This really bothers me and I am uncertain how to fix it. Looking at the CSS it looks like there is an option to change comments. And a thing to note is I did add Disqus.
Also this is minor, I would love to recommend your theme to my readers, but they need a sales page format. No sidebar, no menu (basically no exits). Just another template option please.

Hey MJ, sorry your having problems. Where you having problems before adding Disqus, I’ve never used this plugin I’ll have to do some research on it. There is an option to disable the menu and to only have one column/no sidebars. There will also be an option to disable the sidebars and menu on a page by page basis. I’ll look into the Disqus issue and let you know what I find out.

Actually I use the no sidebar for my sales page, and I know enough CSS to disable the menu. I just haven’t done so yet.
But I write how-to guides and have several WordPress related guides for beginners coming out and really would like to recommend just a few themes that allow for a lot of flexibility. Yours and one other in the free themes have met my standards. Many of my readers are terrified of CSS.
*blushing* Sorry I finally found what I needed. Disqus has a javascript check box in advanced settings that sometimes has to be checked. Still new to disqus but it has increased my comments and virtually eliminated my spam. http://Rockstarguidebooks.com
But again the flexibility of your theme is AWESOME! I so appreciate it and will be recommending it in my upcoming WordPress books and ecourse. (When I get more paying readers I will be sending some $$ your way.)

Glad you found the problem. I’m very honored that you’d mention it. If you ever think of a feature that isn’t included please don’t hesitate to ask, always looking for new ideas. Also if you wouldn’t mind what is the other free theme that you recommend, helps with inspiration for new features.

The other free theme I am recommending is “Swift by Satish Gandham a product of SwiftThemes.Com” I used it on http://365OnlineTips.com. For this website I wanted a magazine setup with a top article and column format beneath because it is a daily tip website.

Your theme looks great. I have a few sites that I want to put up and I think Techozoic is going to be perfect with all of the options for customization. I hate busting into the code. It takes me days to do anything.

Techozoic is a terrific theme. I used it for five days until yesterday however I had to take it down because it completely messed up my SEO (Meta Title/Description etc….). I use All in One SEO pack and and I did disable the SEO options in Techozoic but my SEO features are still messed up. Also, right by the SEO options in Techozoic, you asked to refer to the notes for further details, but the link to the notes in questions leads to Adsense set up tab. Anyway, there are some bugs that need to be fixed. I had to swicth back to my blog’s old theme.

Sorry to hear that. I have fixed the notes link that lead nowhere now. I’ve finished the documentation for the theme on it’s own site. If you wouldn’t mind me asking what exactly was happening with the meta tags I’ve tested and can’t reproduce any errors. If it’s disabled in the admin the meta tags aren’t added.

I am sorry for not following up on my comment soon enough. What has been happening with the Meta Tags (title and description) is very simple. Whenever I tried Techozoic, Google and other search engines would not pick up the Meta tags as configured in All in One SEO pack. In other words Techozoic would generate its own Meta Titles and Meta Descriptions, this is after turning off Techozoic SEO function. I don’t know if you can investigate this issue but you can fix it, I will be more than happy to bring Techozoic (not that it matters to you, it would matter to me however) back into the rotation of themes for my blog.

Did you ever look into this? I set up my whole site on Techozoic only to find that I can’t get custom titles to work right with any SEO plugins. I’ve tried All In One SEO, Platinum SEO, FV All In One SEO, and they all run into the same problem. The page titles are not rewritten on the individual pages. I enter the custom title into the field on the individual pages, but what shows up is the post title instead. This basically means I can’t use your theme if I can’t figure this out. I can’t do proper SEO if I can’t specify the page title.

Titles rewrite fine on posts and on the home page, but individual pages don’t work. Something interferes or causes the plugins to not work.

Yes I’ve found the problem with the titles, I was a little over-zealous with the SEO and didn’t make checks for my title rewrites everywhere. I’m having to rework a major part of my code to be able to submit it to the WP theme directory so version 1.9.3 is taking a little longer than expected, but getting close to being finished.

NICE THEME!!
Some usefull suggestion:
1. Addind a ARROW >> to indicate, into nav menu, pages (parents) wich have children page on it…
2. Customizable colors for “sticky” post…. to increase visibility! for example i’d like to color background YELLOW and title in other color unlike others posts…

Hi Jeremy, thanks for this nice theme. But I can see the left and right sidebar only at the main (home) page. If I choose another (static) page I can’t see the sidebars… Any idea?

I use this template for my site, and its really nice, i love it.
One Suggestion I had:
A Option to set the Google+, xing and LinkedIn Accounts in the Social Settings would be really nice.
